Projects
Step by step, from scrap to showpiece
The Instructables-style heart of the platform — detailed build logs with materials, photos, and comments, written by the makers who actually did it.
The project format
Every project tells a making story
- 1
Concept
What you're building and why — the sketch, the inspiration, the problem you're solving.
- 2
Materials
A clear bill of materials with quantities and where to source them locally.
- 3
Build log
Step-by-step photos and notes — including the mistakes, which are often the best part.
- 4
Reveal
The finished piece, what you'd do differently, and the remix invitation.

Project FAQ
Publishing questions
How detailed do projects need to be?
Three or more steps with photos is the community minimum — the best projects read like a friend explaining over tea.
Can I publish a project I already shared elsewhere?
Yes, as long as it's your work. Reposts of others' projects are removed.
What is a remix?
A project that builds on another maker's work, with credit and links to the original. Remixes are a badge of honour here.
Do projects have to be finished?
No — 'WIP log' projects are welcome and often get the most engaged comments.
Your last project deserves a write-up.
Publish the build, help 4,000+ makers learn from it, and earn your first project badge.
